First Year of Life
A balanced diet from birth is the foundation for a child's healthy development into adulthood. For the first four to six months of life, a child is exclusively breastfed or formula-fed. With the introduction of complementary foods, their diet becomes more varied. Gradually, your child will discover new flavors in the form of purées, compotes, or finger foods. By the end of their first year, they can already eat almost the same meals as adults. These pages will provide you with many practical tips for feeding your child well.
Second to Third Year of Life
Be sure to offer your child a healthy, varied, and balanced diet. This will allow them to discover a wide range of flavors from a very young age and will help them accept different foods. They will also develop preferences that will last a lifetime.
